Senior Tax Accountant

Our Client

Our client is a mid-tier practice with national and international affiliations based in the Perth CBD who have multiple Directors, each with a team of Accountants supporting a varied client base. As a part of their ongoing growth they are looking to add a Senior level tax and business services accountant to a Director's team.

The Ideal Candidate Requirements:

• 3+ years experience
• CA/CPA qualified 
• High level understanding of Div 7A, PSI, CGT for small business, Trusts and Corporate law matters
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Experience in dealing with complex groups
• Working knowledge of MYOB, XERO, Castaway, Spotlight and ability to pick up and work on other softwares as required.
• Team player and collaborative personality
• Motivated to continue building a public practice career

Role and responsibilities:

• Preparation of tax returns and financial statements for individuals, companies, trusts and partnerships.
• Working directly with clients and providing solutions on general tax matters.
• Providing assistance in the preparation of cash flow forecasts and researching tax matters where required.
• Liaising with and building relationships with clients, the ATO and other bodies as relevant and required.
• Providing advice to a large and varied client base.
