Your Opportunity – Public Practice Tax Accountant - $140,000 plus Remuneration Package
BG Perth Advisory is a boutique accounting firm based in Burswood, seeking a qualified tax/business services Senior Accountant with a minimum 4+ years experience in a Mid-Tier public practice with a strong work ethic and able to take responsibility for seeing the job through to completion.

Ideally you will have the following experience and characteristics:
· 4+ years' experience in a similar role in a Mid-Tier Practice servicing High Net Worth Family Groups and the SME Market
· Leadership qualities
· Excellent communication skills as liaison directly with High Net worth Individuals and Groups will be required
· A good team spirit and an empathy towards other people.
Duties
Duties include, but are not limited to:
All aspects of corporate tax and associated accounting, including:
· prepare income tax returns for high net worth family groups and small to medium business entities, ensuring compliance with all taxation requirements;
· prepare, examine, and analyse accounting records, financial statements, and other financial reports to assess accuracy, completeness, and conformance to reporting and
procedural standards;
· oversee the preparation of ASIC forms, and all other company secretarial requirements, as necessary;
· apply interviewing skills to obtain initial information from clients;
· interview clients to obtain additional information as queries arise;
· tax planning;
· preparation of consulting advice in respect of income tax, fringe benefits tax, capital gains tax, and goods and services tax;
· overseeing the management of clients, including:
- management and analysis of billing, WIP and debtors;
- ensuring that bills are prepared on a timely basis;
- lodgement deadlines and prioritising preparation of client work.
· supervision of junior staff, including:
- being responsible for the direction of staff in their work duties;
- assisting staff with their queries;
- review of staff work.
